S’Tile has an exclusive licence from Poitiers University and CNRS for the two original patent applications in 2003.

S’Tile has a portofolio of 8 patents, patent pendings and US Continuation in part covering the processes of pressing and sintering and recrystallizing of silicon wafers, the fabrication of granular silicon, and of different solar cell device structures including the integrated I-Cell.
